Change the shortcut that you are using to start your session to include -T . The error is telling you that Progress/OpenEdge cannot create the temporary files (Local BI in this case).
sir.
what do you mean change the shourcut?
sorry im newbie in progress.
thanks.
I meant the Windows shortcut - the icon that you double-click to launch the application.. Right click (in your image it looks like it is called 'Official Business Form')and select Properties from the menu. In the box called 'Target' add the -T parameter at the end of the line, for example:
-T C:\Temp
all progress startup parameters are key-sensitive , the -s means the stack trace,
try with -S (Capitals) , it will works better. proshut [dbname] and use proserve with -S.

You need a workgroup or enterprise DB license to be able to do a client/server connection.

What's your current license? Did you purchase on OpenEdge Studio or are you a PSDN subscriber?
Anyway I'd contact your local progress subsidiary. If you need it they may give you a serial number and control code for an eval copy.
i use OEA trial version
sir network-based connection and client/server connection is the same?
thanks.
