Hi I have a series of sql views that I created in openedge progress (v10.2a) and have granted access to theses views to odbcuser. When I attempt to look at these views connecting through an odbc connection I do not see the views. Would anyone know why I am not seeing these views? The database is on a unix server and the odbc connection is being used to connect to an external reporting software component. I should also note that I can access our existing tables, but cannot see the views from within the reporting software.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
My problem was with the sql editor I was using, as I was unaware that using a pro session runs sql in SQL89 whereas sql explorer or winsql uses SQL92
