I'll try to make this succinct! I've started a new job as a developer with a web hosting company. One of my assignments is to make a modification on a currently up and running Sitefinity site. (My site dashboard says Sitefinity CMS 11.0 - don't know if this is flat 11 or 11.something)
What I need to do is to Gate some of the "news" content. Meaning the following:
Add option on news entry page to either use a checkbox or drop down selector to indicate that this content should be gated. The gated portion should only be applied to any videos or pdfs attached to the news article.
If this is gated, when the entry page is loaded, we need to show the news information (what's entered into the editor itself), then have a form appear asking for name/email address, and then on successful submission, bring up the link to the video or pdf supplied.
I assume this is possible to do in Sitefinity, but how would you recommend going about this?
