I have received about 500 mail från that user. I have created a rule that deletes them.

Thanks for the response.

I have also created an mail filter,

BUT would still like to find out how to get hold of Communities Support?!?!?!?

They should address these type of issue and block the two spam users.

* community.progress.com/.../xlfazx1945

* community.progress.com/.../fqrtfctq1831

and especially since this has been ongoing for more than 48 hours and more than 1000+ emails/treads

Hello,

I see from the previous post that the issue is being worked on.

Perhaps, a possible workaround, if you are still receiving emails, is to temporarily turn off the email notifications.

(For example, email notifications to iOS.)

I hope this helps,

Edsel

user 'aweg aweg' is still spamming - how hard is to block a user on your forums? If you need to 'work with your supplier' to resolve the issue then you really need to look for another supplier!

Part of the issue seems to be that there isn't an 'owner' of the community any more. Jean has left and I don't think Ed Sullivan is doing this anymore either.

Note that I tried turning off notifications and turning off my subscription, but the mail kept coming through.  I did not get these most recent threads, so maybe it worked eventually, but only many hours after making the change.
