hi, I am new to Progress. I would like to know, how to calculate DB Size in Progress
Define "DB size". Is this the total of all the data or the size on disk?
If you want the total of data and indexes, run the dbanalys tool and redirect the output to a file and get the totals near the bottom. Alternatively, run promon and sleect option 5. There is a field called 'DB Size'. For size on disk, just have a look using the directory listing command of your OS.
