Required Skills:
Strong Progress Database application programming skills. Will be converting data from one proprietary system to another, also working to recreate functionality from legacy system into current system. Candidate will also work on SRS Data Migration project.
* 4+ years of experience with Progress v8 (or above) GUI and application programming support.
* 2+ years of experience with Progress WebSpeed development.
* Ability to visually review specifications documents and provide input on successfully implementing business solutions.
Desired Skill:
* Progress v10 OpenEdge GUI and WebSpeed experience.
* SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 familiarity.
* Experience with other web based programming technologies (ASP, .NET, JAVA, HTML).
* Experience with online financial transactions and modules.
* Progress database administration knowledge or experience.
* Experience writing and implementing reusable business applications using Progress App Server.
