PUG Challenge Americas, like EMEA PUG Challenge, is a conference run by many volunteers from PUGs. Our focus is educational, technical content at an affordable price.

PUG Challenge presents a technical conference which is OpenEdge-centric. Our attendees are developers, administrators, architects, IT managers, consultants and partners interested in OpenEdge and how OpenEdge interfaces with, and can be leveraged by, Progress’s entire suite of technology tools.

PUG Challenge Americas speakers include more than a dozen Progress employees and more than two dozen industry experts presenting more than 50 technical sessions, workshops, commercial and roadmap/info exchanges. This conference is the premier technical forum in the Americas for exchanging ideas, tips and best practices on OpenEdge.

The conference will be held June 5-8, 2011 in Westford, Massachusetts, USA, which is easily reached from both Boston (BOS) and Manchester (MHT) airports. The hotel is just minutes up the road from Progress Software's Bedford, MA Headquarters, and we have many Progress employees registered for the conference.

The conference costs just $495 for In-Person registration (US dollars). (Late, or "On Site" Registration begins June 1, 2011 when fees increase to $625). The hotel has assigned a special block of rooms for participants at $99/night with free high-speed internet in every room and WiFi throughout the public areas, but you must call them directly. The hotel has already increased our room allotment, so be sure to call early so you won’t be disappointed. (http://pugchallenge.org/hotel.html).
