I have a need to place a bar chart on a printed report. Currently I an using Micrsoft Excel to geneate the chart and output to a .jpg. Then I create a report as a PDF and I add the chart to the report. Some of our clents run our application on a cloud server. Microsoft licenseing makes the excel solution cost prohibitive. Has any one used mschart or some other tool to accomplish what I need to do?Thanks,Thomas Sandoval
The attached uses a third party tool "SimpleChart" to do what I need which generate a chart and output the results to .jpg file. We have used simple chart below but at the time their product would not run on Windows Vista, 7 etc.. They since have released a new version but I think we would feel better if we could get MS Chart to do what we need. Has anyone done this with MS Chart.
