What is the application doing when the crash happens? Did it work before? What has changed?

Carlos,

Try going into the compatibility settings for the icon used to run the application and set Windows 7 compatibility.

Carlos,

I’m confused as to what that matters.  Can the app icon (no matter where it is) not be modified?
