PSDOE Eclipse version OE 12

Do we know something about what Eclipse version the PSDOE will use in version 12? No idea is the EASP program already started :(

Right, found it… no mention of any change of Eclipse version though, some new features in PSDOE but guess the version will still be Mars (4.5), after all it just has been updated in last version :)

At a minimum we will move to Eclipse 4.7. There is a possibility that we would adopt Eclipse 4.8 which will release in June 2018.

Our ESAP program for OpenEdge 12.0 has started, and as in the past, we will roll out new features that we would like to get feedback on as they are completed. To date, the Eclipse version used in our ESAPs has not changed from OpenEdge 11.7.

Thanks for the info Rob, so it will be at least an upgrade from 4.5.2 to 4.7...


If there are, even slim, chances to integrate Photon (4.8) this means we can only expect version 12 somewhere in the autumn of 2018?
