REST Clent in OpenEdge

Today when OpenEdge Client (AVM) calls REST Services, there must use .Net libraries.
The question: When will Progress include REST Client into ABL?

An http client capable of doing REST calls was added to the ABL in 11.5 or 11.6 in the $DLC/src/netlib/OpenEdge.Net.pl

The “Net” in the name refers to “Network” and not “Microsoft .NET”. You can use it on all OE platforms (GUI,TTY,batch,AppServers).
