Oracle Dataserver Error on AIX 7.1

I do not know if it's in this community.
I am having a problem connecting an Oracle database through the oracle Dataserver.

This module can access ORACLE only through the PROGRESS network. (1894)


I already did the oebuild process (no error occurred).

I followed the KB knowledgebase.progress.com/.../000045611 and other kb.

Can someone help me?

What version of Progress? You no longer need to probuild in 10 and 11.

I stand corrected with  regards to probuild on AIX. My apologies. FWIW, my OracleDS + AIX client passes through a Windows OracleDS.

Are you certain that you are running the newly built _progres and _orasrv?

Hi Paul

I re-installed the Oracle Client, xlc compiler, OE 11.6, SP03 (in this order).

I made the oebuild (according to the kbs you ordered) and now it worked.
