I am having a bit of trouble finding decent documentation on the printing of special characters. I have read on how to escape octal characters, but was unable to find the octal character for ⬛. Does anyone know how to get the special character ⬛ to print.
Hugely depends on printer driver and printer settings.
For normal text file print on Windows on we used the '-cpprint 1252'
But this only support printing of characters in codepage 1252 supported by printers 'text' driver!
