smtpmail.p or System.Net.Mail

Posted by bart.syryn on 13-Jan-2017 04:24

Hi, For years I'm using smtpmail.p with no major problems. Now I'm considering using System.Net.Mail (OE 11.3). But before implementing this, I was wondering are there any disadvantages with using System.Net.Mail ? It seems to me that System.Net.Mail is much faster then smtpmail.p. Thanks for any advice. Kind regards Bart

Another option is curl for UNIX/Linux.

We have been using it for years and it works great. I guess the disadvantage is it requires .NET so if you are running on Linux you have an opportunity.
