Support link authentication error - System wide or my proble

Posted by Simon L. Prinsloo on 11-Jan-2016 04:06

Good morning

I can successfully log into SupportLink, but when I select "Log/Manage a support case" I get a Salesforce Single Sign-On error.

Is this problem isolated to me or is it a general failure?

The message on the page reads:

Your login attempt using single sign-on with an identity provider certificate has failed. Please contact your salesforce.com administrator for more information.

Regards

Simon

Hi,

seems to be related to 3rd party cookies. (Or just cookies and site data)

After adding cookie and site data exception for a number of sites (to allow) I managed to get on

[*.]progress.com

[*.]login.salesforce.com

[*.]progress.my.salesforce.com

and possibly more!

And yes! I think it is bad behavior setting 3rd party cookies!

Regards,

Torben
