I'm trying to upgrade my local machine (64bit win7) to 11.5.1 (32 bit). I installed 11.5 and have been getting real problems with it not finding stuff in the right places. I have subsequently found that the issue is that I had a DLC environment variable set pointing at c:\progress and 32bit 11.5 installs by default to c:\progressx86. Everything is completely screwed up along with the InstallShield process. It just freezes.
I assume I need to uninstall everything manually and reinstall. Does anyone have a guide for this so I don't miss anything?
I've created case 00323825 for this, but not getting much joy. I've not been able to get anything done this morning and I desperately need to.
