Did I broke the forum.... ?

Posted by OctavioOlguin on 30-Jan-2015 18:09

Hi!

I posted a comment on  https://community.progress.com/community_groups/openedge_general/f/26/t/15765.aspx , but it shows funny (drained to the left), and can't keep posting on it...

Any clue?

You can try to reply to the forum threads via email.

How can that be done? Where is it documented?

Thanks.

[mention:45b90340ccbc408da6904946f587d486:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] we have noticed that sometimes content of posts are breaking the thread UI. I have reported it and it should be fixed soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

To reply by email, you need to have the forum notification set to ON.

You'll then receive an email notification each time a new thread is created in the forum.

You can then reply to that email and your answer will get into the thread as a post/reply.

Now to reply that specific thread (the one that is temporary messed up), what you could try, if you haven't the notification, is to email the forum (mailto:TU.OE.General@community.progress.com) and use for the email subject the thread subjet: How to debug app connection problem.

That should do the trick until we have fixed the layout.
