i want to test email alerts from OE Management . when i try to test the email i receive an error
email action failed .... could not connect to SMTP (9612)
when i try to use a mail client i can send to my local email server.
in the OE Management log i see the lines below which seem to be ok .... any help would be welcome

admserv.log & fathom.properties would be helpful to have. assuming there is no typo in the settings, including username & pass & port etc....
I have the same problem with 11.4. I have no user authentification necessary.
A testmail gives:
"E-Mail Action Failed! Action: Default_Mail_Action, Recipient: ...@server.com, Host: ...., Port: 25\nCould not connect to SMTP (9612)"
Do you already identified the problem?
The Host is in a local environment.
Problem solved. Exchange was unable to send mails specially from that machine.
