Hi All,
From a client pc connected to mobile network, using browser to browse to AIA URL at https://A.B.C.D/aia/Aia is working, but when running application client, I got this error message:
Secure Socket layer(SSL) failure, error code 10060: unknown network error (9318)
I found this error on knowledge base (http://knowledgebase.progress.com/articles/Article/000031248), something to do with connecting the application client to a proxy server, but do not understand why I will encounter this problem, used to work before (https://community.progress.com/technicalusers/f/19/p/1727/34249.aspx#34249).
Need advise.
Thank you.
Hi Richard,
Thank you for your reply.
After much troubleshooting, I have found out the cause of this issue, which is my company's commercial firewall blocking my mobile IP address (incoming traffic), where it blacklisted as sync-attack. Doing some manual unblock solved the problem.
Thank you for your time.
Hello Tai Li,
When exactly did this start failing for you? Some of our Progress / OpenEdge SSL certificates recently expired on February 22, 2014.
If your certificates expired around this time you may want to review the following article:
knowledgebase.progress.com/.../000047102
If this is not the time when your SSL connection started failing then you might open a case with Technical Support to investigate.
Thank you.
