Blast from the Past (and Present)

Greetings

I just stumbled upon this while searching for something entirely unrelated (as you do).

Taken from the Pascal Users Group Newsletter September 1977.

Gus Bjorklund , 2250 Coppersmith Square, Reston, VA 22091: "I am presently working on a

Pascal compiler for the IBM Series 1, and should be finished in September 1977."

(* 77/6/22 *)

Surely there can't be two of them?

Nigel

I confess. I did that. No idea what's become of it. I also worked on a compiler for the IBM 360 for CMS.

I believe there was heaps of Pascal Users Groups and many of them had newsletters! Also lots of Pascal Compilers!

Oh, but yes, I'm fairly sure that there wouldn't be many Gus Bjorklunds! ;-)

I didn't know the PUGs went back that far ;)
