I would like to suggest that every document posted in the PSDN library be given a unique document identifier which prints in the document. This way, if one tracked down a document of interest, but didn't remember exactly where it had been found, one could search on the identifier and find it easily.
Possibly this identifier should have a document component and a version component so that when a document was updated, one could come back and search on the document number and one would notice whether or not there were newer versions.
