I get this error when I try to print a certain report within the program: The total length of the fields in an index exceeds max key size. (129).
I know that there can only be a maximum value of 188 characters within an index, and wondered how I maybe could get round this. I'm not to sure what I could post in order to get the help I need but would appreciate any input.

Well, your choices are to either upgrade to a later version or leave something out.
He could also map the long values to something shorter and index on that.
Thanks for your replies, I just used a substing and cut some of the characters of. And I think were upgrading to the latest version next month thankfully!
