We are using OpenEdge 10.0B database.
For ODBC we are using DataDirect 4.20 32 BIT OpenEdge SQL v10.0B driver.
We have two different databases running on 8350 and 8360 ports.
Both databases are running with Vantage ERP system and works fine.
But problem is that through ODBC we cannot connect to database which is running 8350 port, however through odbc we can connect to database which is running on 8360 port.
Trying to connect we get this error: Invalid attribute in connection string.Database not started.
It's strange. Cause as is said, database is running and some application can communicate with it correctly.
Has anyone faced this problem before?
Database is running, other applications can work with that database, user/password is correct.
What else can cause this problem?
