I'm trying to connect a Progress database from a pda with Windows CE, but there seems to be no odbc driver available for Windows CE.
I know that webservices is probably the way to go, but for now it would be easier if I could connect the database directly. Is this possible at all?

Not directly I don't believe. You can use Web Services. Check out AutoEdge which has an example of using a CE device & web services connecting to an OpenEdge AppServer.
