Can we Embedded PDF/ Excel/ Word Documents in Progress?

Hi guys,

Can I embedded documents from 3rd party (Eg: PDF/ Word/ Excel) into any progress controls (Eg: OCX/ Windows Frame) ?

If you want to preview a document, you can use eg. a webbrowser control on your progress window

By setting the URL to your file you can preview it

Version of Progress is highly relevant to the answer.  The answer is yes, but the how differs.

Same comment I made on ProgressTalk ... yes, there are solutions, but they are entirely different solutions than one would be likely to use in a modern version of Progress.  You are asking to take modern content and display it using 10 year old technology.  Possible, but you would be creating a lot of code that you would want to change when you do upgrade.  So, why do it backwards.  Upgrade first and take advantage of years and years of new features.
