At one of our clients, on a VLAN that is forced into a DSL connection between the database server and the IBM WebSphere Application Server connecting with a JDBC connector, packages of the JDBC connection are fragmented on the network to about 100-byte packages during the communication. However, this problem was not observed with packages of other turnovers taking place in the network. It happens so in the case of both 9.1E and 10.2B. All machines taking part in the communication are Linux-based. We have tried to set communication with the –Mm parameter as written in the documentation of 10.2B but unfortunately we did not succeed.
Would you please help us in correcting this problem? Please let us know what the official recommendation is for using a similarly built communication channel.
