plugin openedge Architect

Posted by Jagxx on 22-Jul-2010 15:39

Hello,

I have a problem when I try to install the plugins openedge Architect.

My OS is Windows 7 64 Bit and I have installed openedge 102B 32 bits.
I use Eclipse 32 Bit 3.5 Galileo.

I have the plugins locally available.

After the installation of the plugins, I become an error: unable to locate installation information for Openedge version: 10.2B, and I can't create a new project.

Can someone help me ?

Thank you

Jag

Hello Sébastien.

It is been a while ago and you got no answers, but did you solve the problem?

I have the same problem with Openedge 11.1 32 bits on Windows 7 Ultimate.

Hi Nico,

I have couple of questions on the same.

1) Did you try installing OpenEdge plug-ins into external (other) eclipse during normal OpenEdge (Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge) installation or through the batch file utility (integrateArchitect.bat) which is available in the $DLC\oeide\integrateArchitect.bat?

2) Can you also please let us know eclipse version (external eclipse) you are using for the OpenEdge plug-ins installation using OpenEdge 11.1.

Thanks and Regards,

Anil Kumar.

Hello Anil.

I just did a new installation of 11.1. I first removed older installations.

I have had this problem before on the same laptop and found a solution, but I forgot what.

But... I remembered it now and here it is:

Just run the fix tool (i don't know why) and everything is working!
