If the input mask is to be used to automatically format phone numbers, not sure how best to use the mask (if at all) for numbers across countries. Our Accounts and Contacts will come from all over the world and need a standard way to enter phone numbers. The default (###)######## is not suitable as this is US centric.
Unfortunately ############## doesn't allow a plus (+) to be entered as the first character and +############### forces everyone into internationalising the entry of the phone number which is also not desirable.
Any thoughts from the community?
Hi,
Phone number field input mask accepts two wild characters - # or *.
The # symbol for numeric character
The * symbol for any input character
In your case, change the input mask to *##############, so that + symbol(or any character) can be the first character.
Thanks
Anil
