Hello,
When I disable Track Changes on the Status Field of an Object with Task and Workflow Attributes I'm seeing an additional Audit Trail record. And in another case I see an Audit Trail entry that uses a different template. Are these bugs?
Object Definition | Workflow Action | Audit Record(s) | Expectation |
---|---|---|---|
Track Changes | Use Web Page... | ||
Enabled | None | Action <action name> has been performed on <subject> | Expected |
Status change to <next status> | Expected | ||
Enabled | Status Change | Value of Workflow Status field was changed from <status> to <next status> | Expected but differs |
Disabled | Status Change | Expected (no audit record) | |
Disabled | None | Action <action name> has been performed on <subject> | Expected |
Status change to <next status> | Not Expected (Track Changes is Disabled) |
Thanks

Hi,
I am able to reproduce both the scenarios you mentioned above :
i) Audit Trail entry with different template message.
ii)Audit Trail entry while track changes is disabled.
We have accepted this as bug #83574
Thanks,
