Hello,
I have an object for which I have set the attribute "Portal User" to checked. Checking this option creates an "Is Active" field. I have created a portal page that creates a record for this object. When it successfully creates the record, it sets the Is Active checkbox to checked. I have modified the checkbox status in the field definition for that field to "Unchecked" by default, despite that it is setting it to checked upon creation of a record. Is this how it is supposed to be?

The platform is setting it to true when creating a portalvisitor record. You can add an afterCreate timing trigger to update this field's value to false.
Thanks for confirming that Santosh. It should ideally be controllable from the field properties in my opinion. Is there a possibility of making that controllable?
Iram
Yes it makes sense to do that. Have logged a bug for 4.3 release.
Do you reckon this would be available in the 4.3 release?
