Hello,
I have an Object with an Event attribute. So basicallyt we should have two type of popups :
- One reminding that the event is about to start, according to the Reminder (5-10-15 min before for example)
- One saying that the event is overdue.
I just spotted a strange behavior of those popups that you can see in the screenshots below :
On this first screen shot, everything is fine. I have a reminder of 5 minutes. And the reminding popup is shown 5 minutes before the start date of the Event. All good.
On the second screenshot, the Event has not expired yet, but we are getting the Overdue reminder exactly 5 minutes before the start date. Which corresponds to the reminder duration.
Also, this second scenario is happening only after the event has been reminded, means after the first popup in the first screenshot has been showed. For example, if the Event is created with a date in the past, it will popup the overdue reminder and it is correct.
So looks like there is an issue here with resetting the popup content.
Can anyone confirm this behavior please?
Thank you
Meryem
Hi guys,
Anything on this please?
Cheers,
Meryem
Hi Meryem,
I tested this and found it reproducible.
I setup an Event to begin at 2:50 PM, with a popup-reminder configured to show 5 min before.
This event record was created at, say, 2:42 PM.
At 2:45 PM, the popup appeared, as expected.
At this time, I then edited the Date/Time field for this record to be 2:47 PM.
I got the Overdue reminder (2:47 is 5 minutes from the Creation time of 2:42 PM).
Is this the scenario you are referring to?
Regards,
Karthikeyan
Hi Karthikeyan,
What is the time exactly when you get the second Popup, the Overdue reminder one ?
The idea is : When a second popup has to be shown, its content is not set properly because of the one shown just before.
Thank you
Meryem
I have created a defect 49510 for this issue.
