Is it there way to rollup the lastest communication log entery for a contact in constact list view.
One of the column in list view should be latest communication and it show what happened.

Is the Contact attribute enabled for the object you are referring to? If not can you please refer to below documentation URL :

Any object that has Contact attribute enabled will indirectly relate Comm log object as a related object and will enable its related columns for use.
