Kerberos authentication in Rollbase

Hi,

Please confirm if trail version of  Rollbase private cloud be used to implement Kerberos Authentication or it  requires license version of rollbase .

Yes, trail version could be used but the number of User creations for a Customer is limited to only 5.

Hi Shivani,

Rollbase Evaluated (Zip) File that i require for private installation , i did download from Progress Rollbase side and install . please suggest where i could found  license.xml file .

Rollbase evaluation version doesn't require any license.xml file.

Thank you for your reply , as you suggest Rollbase evaluation version doesn't require any license.xml file . here i am  trying to setup Kerberos authentication in trial rollbase private cloud , however in progress rollbase document ( documentation.progress.com/.../ )

step given as " The hostname in the Rollbase license file will be rbinstance.mydomain.com " . please suggest me is this step is mandatory or should i skip this step to continue...?

Hostname property value reads from shared.properties file if license.xml is not available. Make sure that "HostName" property value is correct in shared.properties file.

Shared.properties file is available @ <ROLLBASE_HOME>\config

E.g:

C:\Progress\Rollbase\Pas_Instance\rollbase\config
