Receiving / loading e-mail in Outlook takes a long time

Hi!

Our customer uses Outlook and e-mails which they are receiving from Rollbase they take a long time to load. The mail is visible in Outlook but when they open the e-mail to view it takes a very long time to display the contents. Anyone familiar with this problem? I think this is something in Outlook but I'm not so familiar with outlook, we internally use Gmail but never faced this problem.

Does the email embed large hosted file(s), image(s)?

No not at all, just some text and a link to task, I've even removed the link to the task. Maybe outlook would check the url or something like that. But even without the link it takes a lot time...

Thanks. Would it be possible for you to share the email template code?  Is it html or text template?  It looks like plain text based template. Also what version of outlook is it?

It's a pretty simple template (but HTML):

Geachte {!assignedTo},

De volgende actie is aan u toegewezen: {!#LINK.Task}

Vervaldatum: {!dueDate}

Aangemaakt door: {!createdBy}

Outlook version is Office 2010
