rbf_showOrHideField() Function - New UI - Rollbase - Forum

Hello,

rbf_showOrHideField() does not work in the View Page on the New UI. I haven't really gone through to check the New and Edit pages but I would believe it should work in all the places where I have the option of accessing the function. Could someone let me know if this is a known issue.

Yes Iram, rbf-showOrHideField is designed to work for both view & edit pages.

Have verified the behavior on latest 4.0.3 release & it is working correctly. Are you seeing this issue specific to any field type?

Hello Siraj,

I am on version 4.0.2. and I can confirm that it definitely does not work on the View Page, however I did manage to check and can confirm that it works on the new and edit pages. I did not however try all the fields but the ones I did worked. I'll get back to you and post on this thread if I did manage to find any fields that did not work. I would use that function more extensively now.

Hi.

We had this issue in v4.0.2.0 and it is addressed immediately in v4.0.2.1 release.

As specified by Siraj, it is working fine in production (v4.0.3.1).

Just in case you are not aware, 4.0.3.1 is already released.

Next release due is 4.0.4, targetted for second week of December, 2015.

Yes indeed I'm aware but am waiting for the 4.0.4 release. Got many other fixes in there :)

For some reason this still doesn't work in version 4.0.4. on the View page. Could someone confirm this to me please?
