Uninstall Rollbase problem - The Application has Unexpected

On windows  7 OS , I had uninstall rollbase using uninstall icon from program group.

There is a dialog message appear 

Invocation of this Java Application has caused an 

InvocationTargetException. This application will now exit(lax)

when press detail button it shown below:

Can you Please try unistalling via the control panel.

Hi Tawatchai,

Did you stop the server and DB before uninstalling the product?

Could you please share the uninstall log which will be created at user directory(C:\Users\<username>\rollbase_uninstall_console.log)

I did uninstall using control panel . The results is the same error.

Thanks for sharing information Tawatchai,

We are analyzing the logs that you've provided. Meanwhile, can you please try this ?

Navigate thru ../../Progress\Rollbase\uninstall - > Right click on Uninstaller -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Compatibility Mode -> Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for (Windows 7) -> Apply changes.

Retry uninstalling from uninstaller and let us know if this works for you?

3. From Logs, I see that Free Memory: 9891 kB, Can you make sure that there is enough space for Temp folder? / try cleaning the temp folder and uninstall again.

4. Can you please attach complete Uninstall log?

My answers are below:

For  rollbase directory structure , I didn't made any change to JRE.

But, outside rollbase I installed JRE to use with other program (JRE 1.8). But  work in separate environment (Java REST development).

%JAVA_HOME%  was removed  for system environment. during uninstall Rollbase. 

2. Did you stop DB and Pas server before running Uninstaller? if not please try.

Yes.  confirmed.

3. From Logs, I see that Free Memory: 9891 kB, Can you make sure that there is enough space for Temp folder? / try cleaning the temp folder and uninstall again.

Already cleaning temp folder (around 4 GB free ).  And re-uninstall again. The same error found.

4. Can you please attach complete Uninstall log?

Hi Tawatchai,

Thanks for providing information.

I tried it locally and couldn't reproduce the same issue. The only reason I could see is that the uninstaller itself being corrupted/ some registry missing.

Can you suggest if below steps are feasible for you?

1. From ../.../Program Files\Zero G Registry, take backup of ".com.zerog.registry" file and delete the "Zero G Registry" folder

2. Take backup of files that you would need, if any.

3. Run the Installer to install Rollbase again (This would fix if uninstaller has any issues)

4. Once the installation completes, re-run the uninstaller/ uninstall from Control panel.
