Navigation Tab order - Top to bottom - New UI

Hi,

The v4.1.0.0 release is planned in Feb 2016.

I will discuss with the team about the feasibility of fixing this issue before v4.1.0.0 and let you know soon.

I have been testing this in version 4.0.4. and the navigation tab order (top to bottom) order does work when there is only one form. If I attach an embedded quick create form to the main form on a new record creation page, the navigation tab order keeps jumping from the 1st field of the first form to the 1st field of the embedded form, 2nd field of the first form to the 2nd field of the embedded form etc. This behavior is not right and I would expect the tabbing to be such that it should perform a tabbing from top to bottom completely for the first form and then carry out the tabbing for the second form. Kindly let me know if this is a known issue.

Hi Iram,

This is an issue.

Navigation order 'Top to bottom, then left to right' is not working if new record page has embedded quick create. But, 'Left to right, then top to bottom' is working fine in the above case.

We will let you know once it is fixed.

[My Comment]: The navigation order will work at section level. Means, if we have two sections and each section has two columns  in new record page, then it navigates from top to bottom and shift to right side of the section and then it will jump to second section.

Hi, Is there a possibility of getting this fixed for 4.1? We are planning to upgrade to 4.1 from 4.0.4 and this is quite an important feature for the user experience. Appreciate if you can reconsider it for the 4.1 release please.
