I have a lookup of hierarchy type on an object. I am trying to write some validation on the field, but on editing the record the validation does not work correctly. When I fetch the value of the lookup field using template token, it return the previously saved value of the field and not the currently selected value.
Are you using a Reference field in Object for hierarchy relationship?
Have tried out this case in 4.0 and seems to be working fine.
Request you to share additional details. If possible, sample application xml with this case.
