Please let me understand what is the requirement more clearly. You were asking if there can be a page where user can edit the multiple details along with the status change right ?
A workflow action can be configured with a status chagne page. And it can be edited to add any of the object feilds.
Doesn't that cater your requrement ?
Or are you looking for a status change page which dispalys as a pop-up rather than a normal page ?
