What is Max Backup File Storage (MB)?

I have set Max Backup File Storage (MB) to 20.

Then I create backup file for this customer,

I thought that file will be limited to 20 MB,

But the backup file size still higher than max setting.

So, How is Max Backup File Storage (MB) setting work?

As of now we don't enforce this limit of a Customer. We have a flag for customer called Overused Resources which gets set to true for such Customers.Master admin can query customers for thsi flag and take appropriate action.
