Client side functions - New UI

Hello,

I was just trying out the rbf_showOrHidePageTab() function in the New UI and I realized that it doesn't work anymore. Is this going to be fixed anytime soon? And also are there any more functions like this that do not work in the New UI?

Hi ,

The following are the API's that may have problem in new UI . we will be addressing these issues in 4.0.2

setGridPicklistCode()

sumGridColumn2()

setLookupFilter()

activatePageTab()

getViewSelector()

showOrHidePageTab()

showOrHideSection()

setSectionCollapse()

setViewSelector()

Unfortunately there has been a regression in the case of
                rbf_showOrHidePageTab() 
            and certain other client side functions.
            We will update the full list in this post tomorrow.
 
The change in behaviour will be fixed in 4.0.2 ( to be backward compatible & consistent with pre-4.0  behaviour )  currently scheduled for Sept/19.

Thanks for confirming that to me. However if I would like to hide the first page tab and activate another page tab, is there a way I could do that at the moment so that even when I do upgrade our private cloud version, functionality would still work? Kindly let me know.
