Hello,
May I know where the record in scope value is stored? Basically I have a relationship between two objects (A and B) in the midst of other relationships and when I click on create object record for B, I am supposed to see object record A attached to it. I would like to know where the record in scope value is stored so that I can use it at my own discretion without actually selecting the record in scope option from the design page? Kindly let me know.
Cheers.
Hi,
I found this as a nice to have functionality to Rollbase.

Record in scope is not stored, but calculated dynamically based on navigation and relation ships. For instance, if you have A - B relationship and you're creating record B, the last visited record A is considered "in scope".
Hello [mention:05b5f00eae4a468d844fa8bedcafd110:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] I'm sure that's what "in scope" means but is there a way I could access this value from the DOM or using some rollbase function? I have two relationships from B to object A, called them R12345 and R678910 and when I use record in scope it sets the value of both the lookup fields. I would like to control this behaviour in such a way that if I am creating a record for R12345, only R12345's lookup field should be set and likewise if I am creating a record for R678910, only R678910's lookup field should be set. Kindly let me know how to achieve this.
Cheers.
You cannot modify values considered as "in scope" by the system.
I am not modifying values considered in scope, I am trying to manipulate other fields based on knowing what value is in scope. Is there a way to know that?
No, we don't have this functionality.
