Why rbf_selectQuery() does not return TextArea field value?

Hi All,

When I use rbf_selectQuery() to get the records including TextArea field its returning something like this "com.ddtek.jdbc.openedgebase.ddx@7e9c16bf" instead of actual TextArea field value stored in. Is there anyway to get the TextArea value in the select query?

rbf_getPage() returns the TextArea field value correctly.

The problem is reported in this article of the KB, I have the same issue. It also occurs using rbv_api and if you call selectQuery from REST. It already takes a long time to get this solved., and the bug is quite annoying. It must be fixed in 4.0.0.0, but it's release date has been moved. Does someone know the new release date?
