Re-indexing an object doesn't remove indexes

Hi!

On an object I removed an index of a field, after removing the index I reindexed the object. (Administration setup > Text index).

After the reindexing I'm still able to find the records in the keywords search. Now when the specific record is updated, the record isn't found anymore. So I assume that the index is removed when the record is updated. And not by reindexing.

Is this behaviour to be expected or a bug?

Hi Aede,

I am able to reproduce the issue which you mentioned. And for this i logged a defect. This will be triaged in upcoming releases.
