I created a related field that contains the value of a customer's group. I can select the field in the detailed search, after doing so I get the options "equals" and "is one of". After configuring it, I can see the related field in the Search Component's view, but I cannot select any values. Also, I can no longer alter it's Operand in the search configuration.
Is there any way I could still use it without adding triggers etc.?

What type of field is "Customer's Group"?

In my application, a customer's group is an organization group (from the Organization Management application). It will contain values USER_GROUP could also contain.
I do have permissions to view the group (I'm administrator).
