How to use "Organization" attribute Location\Department\Function without LDF permission? View all records for all users without LDF permission.
Create User Group which is not assigned to any Location\Department\Function. Such group will have full set of LDF permissions. Assign all Users to that Group. This way you will be able to use LDF attributes without LDF permissions.
You can also set the group (which is not assigned to any Location/Department/Function) as a default value for user records. This removes the manual process of assigning the group during user creation.
Please follow the steps below in assigning the default group:
1. Go to 'Users' object definition.
2. Click 'Groups' lookup field.
3. Click 'Edit' button.
4. Select the Default Value for this lookup field.
5. Click 'Save' button.
