I think it is correct to say that a Rollbase task allows for a single date, the Due Date, to be posted to the Calendar from that task.
If that task also contains other dates, say Extended Due Date 1 and Extended Due Date 2 is it possible to for those to be posted to the Calendar too ?
In other words is it possible for multiple dates to be posted to the calendar ?
Hi Richard,
I have tested the scenario that you have mentioned here. Even when the task has multiple dates that are added in it, it only shows Due Date on the calendar, so it allows only one date on the calendar.
This looks like an enhancement to the product ; request you to submit this as an Idea if you want to see this future available in the product in future. Other users can see your idea(s) and vote on ones that appeal to them. Check this link for detailed information: knowledgebase.progress.com/.../P11255

Thanks makumar. It would be a very useful enhancement....
As a suggestion, you could alter your use of the task.
Date = Date to appear on calendar and sorted on lists
Due Date = new added field to represent the Due Date
You could audit the changes to the Due Date or add new fields
Extension 1
Extension 2
etc
This also has another practical use in managing your tasks. There are many times when you want to see a task on your calendar BEFORE the due date. Making the above modifications allows you to accomplish this.
When you work with clients that have extensive task lists, there has to be other ways to manage the lists. You can use priority etc.... but priority changes based on the date. If you have a task due July 1 that is a normal priority...and it is now August 10.... is it still a normal priority. Add a due date in addition to a date to appear on calendar (or for sorting purposes) allows you to move the date and change the way it appears on your list.
Just a few thoughts.
