I cannot find a way to change the behavior but would like to know if there's a way to make rollbase not send a single email per address in a group of addresses but rather one email to all the addresses in the group. Weekly I have to send out one or two emails that will need to go to 200 to 300 people and am not looking forward to filling up my inbox with all the BCCs/CCs I will get.

Do you have a relationship between 'Group' and 'Address' object? If this is your setup then you can send one email to all the addresses in a group by doing the following:
1. Create an email template in the 'Group' object.
2. Create a 'Send Email' workflow action in group object and assign 'Addresses: Email Address' token (generated from the 'Use field' picklist) to the 'Send To' field.
To send an email, go to a group's view page and select the workflow action you have created. I have used workflow action as an example so that you can add other recipients when sending an email.
