Email to new communication log trigger not firing. (gmail in

Hi All,

I am trying to fire the trigger for the communication log object on after create and after update. The new communication log record comes from the email queue that can be converted to a new communication log record. When I click the create communication log on the email view page. It just creates the communication log but it doesn't fire the triggers inside the communication log object.

When I create a communication log inside a related object the trigger works properly. I was just wondering if the trigger is also working when creating a com log record from an email.
