Is it possible to add tags(search) in code?

Yes, we can create a TAG for the record and we can search for that record. Does this suffice your question?

I need the possibility to seach for adate (date-field), and I can't index a date-field.?

We can index the Date-field. As of now the functionality related to Global Text Search is not working.

But as a work around we can create a tag for the Date-Field and we can search for the Date- Field.
